Congratulations on such a well crafted sharing of how you were experiencing America. It is clear and powerful.

This was an awesome read!  One of my favorite chapters is 8, getting into the reasons of the break up with America. It points out examples to all as reminders of all the wrong done to Black and Brown people.

“All that glistens is not gold”. This book is evidence of America’s failure to fulfill its promise to those of us with black skin and how its luster dulls for those from the African Diaspora.

To touch the American Dream only to see it crumble in your hands. A story of shattering authenticity. Absolutely worth discovering.

This is such a powerful story. It's so clear, pithy, and poignant. I love it.
